Information in this column may be added to or 6 edited in any published version of this Act. 7 3 Schedule(s) 8 Each Act that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or 9 repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule 10 concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect 11 according to its terms. 12 2 Social Security Legislation Amendment (Digital Television Switch-over) Bill 2009 No. , 2009 [Page Break] 1 Schedule 1--Amendments 2 3 Social Security (Administration) Act 1999 4 1 Subsection 202(1) 5 Omit "or the Family Homelessness Prevention and Early Intervention 6 Pilot", substitute ", the Family Homelessness Prevention and Early 7 Intervention Pilot or the Digital Switch-over Household Assistance 8 Program". 9 2 After paragraph 202(2)(da) 10 Insert: 11 (db) for the purposes of the Digital Switch-over Household 12 Assistance Program; or 13 3 Subclause 1(1) of Schedule 1 14 Insert: 15 Digital Switch-over Household Assistance Program means the 16 program that: 17 (a) is administered by the Commonwealth; and 18 (b) involves the provision and/or installation of any or all of the 19 following: 20 (i) set-top boxes; 21 (ii) cables; 22 (iii) antennas; 23 for the purposes of enabling the members of certain 24 households to view television programs transmitted in digital 25 mode (within the meaning of Schedule 4 to the Broadcasting 26 Services Act 1992).
