A Bill for an Act to amend the National Cattle Disease Eradication Account Act 1991, and for related purposes
The Parliament of Australia enacts:

 

1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the National Cattle Disease Eradication Account Amendment Act 2006.

 

2 Commencement

This Act commences on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

 

3 Schedule(s)

Each Act that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1--Amendments

National Cattle Disease Eradication Account Act 1991

 

1 At the end of subsection 6(1)
Add:

; (c) making payments to the trustee of the Cattle Disease Contingency Fund Trust for the purposes of the Trust.

 

2 At the end of section 6
Add:

    (3) In this section:

Cattle Disease Contingency Fund Trust means the trust established by deed made on 13 February 2002 between the Australian Animal Health Council Limited and the Cattle Disease Contingency Fund Pty Ltd.
