A Bill for an Act to
amend the Customs Tariff Act
1995
The Parliament of Australia enacts:
This Act may be cited as the Customs Tariff Amendment Bill
(No. 1) 1996.
(1) This Act commences at a time to be fixed by Proclamation, being a time
after the time that the Customs Tariff (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act
1996 commences.
(2) If this Act does not commence within 6
months after the day on which it receives the Royal Assent, it commences on the
first day after the end of that period.
Each Act that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or
repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any
other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect according to its
terms.
