Arts Legislation Amendment (Maritime Museum and Film, Television and Radio School) Bill 2005 No. , 2005 1 [Page Break] 2 Each Act that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or 3 repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule 4 concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect 5 according to its terms. 2 Arts Legislation Amendment (Maritime Museum and Film, Television and Radio School) Bill 2005 No. , 2005 [Page Break] 1 2 Schedule 1--Amendments 3 4 Australian Film, Television and Radio School Act 1973 5 1 Paragraph 5(1)(g) 6 Omit "provided for by the regulations", substitute "specified in a 7 determination under section 6A". 8 2 At the end of Part II 9 Add: 10 6A School may determine degrees, diplomas and certificates 11 The School may, by legislative instrument, make a determination 12 specifying degrees, diplomas or certificates for the purposes of 13 paragraph 5(1)(g). 14 3 Saving provision 15 Despite the amendment made by item 1, regulations in force for the 16 purposes of paragraph 5(1)(g) of the Australian Film, Television and 17 Radio School Act 1973 immediately before the commencement of this 18 item continue in effect, after that commencement, until the first 19 determination made under section 6A of that Act is registered under the 20 Legislative Instruments Act 2003. 21 Australian National Maritime Museum Act 1990 22 4 Paragraph 7(1)(r) 23 After "land", insert "or water". 24 5 Paragraph 7(1)(r) 25 After "building", insert ", structure or vessel". 26 6 Paragraph 54(1)(d) 27 After "charges", insert ", or providing for the Museum to fix charges,".
