Australian Capital Territory Repealed RegulationsThis legislation has been repealed.
2. (1) In this regulation, “public statutory corporation” means a corporation, not being a university or a college of advanced education, established for a public purpose by a law of Australia or a law of the Territory.
(2) Subject to subregulation (3), a member of the Board, other than the Chairman, shall be paid in respect of each day on which he or she attends a meeting of the Board—
(a) if the duration of the meeting on that day is not less than 3 hours—a fee of $55; and
(b) if the duration of the meeting on that day is less than 3 hours—a fee of $35.
(3) Subregulation (2) does not apply to a member of the Board who holds an office or appointment, or is otherwise employed, on a full-time basis in the service or employment of the Territory or Commonwealth, a public statutory corporation or an incorporated company all the stock or shares in the capital of which is or are beneficially owned by the Territory or Commonwealth or by a public statutory corporation.
