HERITAGE COUNCIL (REMUNERATION AND ALLOWANCES) REGULATIONS - TABLE OF PROVISIONS 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Heritage Council (Remuneration and Allowances) Regulations. HERITAGE COUNCIL (REMUNERATION AND ALLOWANCES) REGULATIONS - REG 1 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Heritage Council (Remuneration and Allowances) Regulations. Remuneration and allowances of appointed members 2. (1) Where the Chairperson of the Heritage Council is an appointed member of the Council, he or she shall be paid remuneration and allowances equivalent to the remuneration and allowances payable to a part-time holder of an office that is-- (a) a public office within the meaning of the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973 of the Commonwealth ; and (b) an office of Chairperson that has been determined to be a Category 2 Office within the meaning of Determination No. 5 of 1992 of the Remuneration Tribunal of the Commonwealth. (2) An appointed member of the Heritage Council other than the Chairperson shall be paid remuneration and allowances equivalent to the remuneration and allowances payable to a part-time holder of an office that is-- (a) a public office within the meaning of the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973 of the Commonwealth; and (b) an office (not being an office of Chairperson) that has been determined to be a Category 2 Office within the meaning of Determination No. 5 of 1992 of the Remuneration Tribunal of the Commonwealth.
