72. (1) An inquiry shall be conducted with as little formality and technicality, and with as much expedition, as is practicable to permit a proper consideration of the matter before the Grievances Committee.(2) At an inquiry the Committee is not bound by the rules of evidence and may inform itself of any matter in such manner as it thinks appropriate.
(3) The Chairperson of the Committee may, in respect of any matter not dealt with by this Act, give directions as to the procedure to be followed in relation to an inquiry.
