Definition of “unit” and “unit subsidiary”

4. (1) In this Act, except in Part III, “unit” means a part of the relevant parcel shown on the units plan as a unit.

(2) In this Act—

“unit subsidiary” means a part of the relevant parcel shown on the units plan as a unit subsidiary.

(3) Unless the contrary intention appears, a reference in this Act, except in Part III, to a unit shall, in a case where a unit subsidiary is appurtenant to a unit, be read as a reference to both the unit and the unit subsidiary.
