This legislation has been repealed.

OZONE PROTECTION ACT 1991 - SECT 9

9. (1) A person shall not, without reasonable excuse, deal with, use or manufacture an ozone depleting substance after the prescribed date.

Penalty: $5,000 or imprisonment for 6 months.

(2) The regulations may specify different dates in respect of—

        (a)     different ozone depleting substances; and

        (b)     different classes of licences.
