MOTOR TRAFFIC ACT 1936 (REPEALED) - SECT 60
Holding out as authorised insurerAny person who, not being an authorised insurer, advertises himself or herself, or holds himself or herself out, to be an authorised insurer or undertakes or offers to undertake insurance business in terms of this Act shall be guilty of an offence.
Penalty—
(a) if the offender is a body corporate—150 penalty units; or
(b) if the offender is a natural person—30 penalty units.
