DISTRICTS ACT 1966 NO 5 (REPEALED) - SECT 4

    (1)     In this Act:

Note     A definition applies except so far as the contrary intention appears (see Legislation Act 2001 , s 155).

"deposited plan" means a plan prepared and lodged with the registrar-general in accordance with section 7.

"district" means a district referred to in section 5.

    (2)     In the schedule to this Act—

        (a)     a reference to a deposited plan by number is a reference to a lodged plan so called and numbered in the office of the registrar-general; and

        (b)     a reference to land formerly in the State of New South Wales is a reference to land in that State immediately before the acceptance of that land as part of the Territory.
