(1) The commission may, in writing, authorise persons to perform specified duties in relation to the maintenance of prescribed equipment referred to in paragraph 41A (c).
(2) The commission may, from time to time, give directions to a person authorised under subsection (1) with respect to the performance of his or her duties.
(3) A person shall not, without reasonable excuse, contravene a direction given under subsection (2).
Penalty: 50 penalty units.
(4) An instrument of authorisation under subsection (1) is a disallowable instrument for the purposes of section 10 of the Subordinate Laws Act 1989 .
