BUSHFIRE ACT 1936 (REPEALED) - SECT 15

Penalty on persons resisting apprehension

Any person who, being liable to be apprehended for any offence, opposes, resists, or assaults any person apprehending or attempting to apprehend him or her, commits an offence.

Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.
