WATER POLLUTION REGULATIONS(AMENDMENT) (NO. 31 OF 1992) - TABLE OF PROVISIONS 1. Principal Regulations 2. These Regulations commence on the day on which they are notified in the Gazette. 3. Regulation 2 of the Principal Regulations is amended-- 4. Regulation 8 of the Principal Regulations is amended-- 5. Regulation 9 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting subregulations (2), (3), (5) and (7) to (13) (inclusive). 6. Regulation 10 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting subregulations (2), (3), (4), (6) and (8) to (13) (inclusive). 7. Regulation 11 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting subregulations (2), (5) and (6). 8. Regulation 12 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting subregulations (2) and (3). 9. Part IV of the Principal Regulations is repealed. 10. Schedules 1, 2 and 4 to the Principal Regulations are repealed and the following Schedules substituted: WATER POLLUTION REGULATIONS(AMENDMENT) (NO. 31 OF 1992) - REG 1 Principal Regulations 1. In these Regulations, "Principal Regulations" means the Water Pollution Regulations. Commencement WATER POLLUTION REGULATIONS(AMENDMENT) (NO. 31 OF 1992) - REG 2 2. These Regulations commence on the day on which they are notified in the Gazette. Interpretation WATER POLLUTION REGULATIONS(AMENDMENT) (NO. 31 OF 1992) - REG 3 3. Regulation 2 of the Principal Regulations is amended-- (a) by omitting from paragraphs (2) (a), (b) and (c) "Column 1 of"; (b) by omitting from paragraphs (2) (a), (b) and (c) "column" and substituting "Schedule"; and (c) by omitting from paragraph (2) (c) "4" and substituting "3". Discharge into Class P waters WATER POLLUTION REGULATIONS(AMENDMENT) (NO. 31 OF 1992) - REG 4 4. Regulation 8 of the Principal Regulations is amended-- (a) by omitting from subregulation (5) all words from and including "unless--" and substituting the following: "unless the waste has been treated according to a method of disinfection which the Authority, by notice in the Gazette, declares to be acceptable."; and (b) by omitting subregulation (7). Regulation 9 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting subregulations (2), (3), (5) and (7) to (13) (inclusive). Discharge into Class R waters WATER POLLUTION REGULATIONS(AMENDMENT) (NO. 31 OF 1992) - REG 6 6. Regulation 10 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting subregulations (2), (3), (4), (6) and (8) to (13) (inclusive). Discharge into Class O waters WATER POLLUTION REGULATIONS(AMENDMENT) (NO. 31 OF 1992) - REG 7 7. Regulation 11 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting subregulations (2), (5) and (6). Discharge into Class U waters WATER POLLUTION REGULATIONS(AMENDMENT) (NO. 31 OF 1992) - REG 8 8. Regulation 12 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting subregulations (2) and (3). Repeal of Part WATER POLLUTION REGULATIONS(AMENDMENT) (NO. 31 OF 1992) - REG 9 9. Part IV of the Principal Regulations is repealed.
