2.   After regulation 3 of the Stock Diseases Regulations the following regulation is inserted:

Commencement

1.  These Regulations commence on the day on which section 16 of the Stock Diseases (Amendment) Act 1991 commences.

STOCK DISEASES REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) (NO. 26 OF 1991)

2.  After regulation 3 of the Stock Diseases Regulations the following regulation is inserted:
 Prescribed law defined
"3A.  For the purposes of subsection 11A (2) of the Act,
'prescribed law' means each of the following as amended and in force
from time to time:
         (a)     the Stock Diseases Act, 1923 of the State of New South
Wales;
         (b)     the Stock Diseases Act, 1968 of the State of Victoria;
         (c)     the Stock Act, 1990 of the State of South Australia;
         (d)     the Stock Act 1915 of the State of Queensland;
         (e)     the Stock Diseases Act of the Northern Territory;
         (f)     the Stock (Brands and Movement) Act 1984 of the State of
Tasmania;
         (g)     the Stock (Brands and Movement) Act, 1970 of the State of Western
Australia;
         (h)     the Stock Diseases (Regulations) Act, 1968 of the State of Western
Australia;
               (i)     any regulations made under any of the abovementioned
Acts.".

the Subordinate Laws Act 1989, hereby makes the following Regulations
under the Stock Diseases Act 1933.
