     These regulations commence on 1 August 1999.

Regulations amended
     These regulations amend the Motor Traffic Regulations.

Substitution 
     Regulation 1 is repealed and the following regulation
substituted:
"1      Name of regulations
     These regulations are the Motor Traffic Regulations
1934.".

     Schedule 1 is amended--
         (a)     by omitting from item 44 in Part 1 "60" and
substituting "200"; and
         (b)     by omitting from item 50 in Part 1 "60" and
substituting "67"; and
