LAND (PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENT) (CASINO) REGULATIONS (NO. 2 OF 1992)

1. Citation  
2.   In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears--"the Act" means the Land (Planning and Environment) Act 1991.  
3.   Subsection 229 (1), Division 3 of Part VI and section 276 of the Act do not apply in respect of a controlled activity of the kind referred to in item 2 or 3 of Schedule 4 of the Act that is carried out only in relation to land in respect of which a designation is in effect under paragraph 4 (1) (a) or (b) of the Casino Control Act 1988.

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Land (Planning and Environment) (Casino) Regulations.

 Exemption of certain controlled activities from certain provisions of Act

3.  Subsection 229 (1), Division 3 of Part VI and section 276 of the Act do not apply in respect of a controlled activity of the kind referred to in item 2 or 3 of Schedule 4 of the Act that is carried out only in relation to land in respect of which a designation is in effect under paragraph 4 (1) (a) or (b) of the Casino Control Act 1988.
