LAND (PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENT) REGULATIONS(AMENDMENT) (NO. 21 OF 1996) 

- TABLE OF PROVISIONS

1. Commencement  
2.   In these Regulations, "Principal Regulations" means the Land (Planning and Environment) Regulations.  
3.   Regulation 23 of the Principal Regulations is repealed and the following regulation substituted:

Commencement

1.  These Regulations commence on the day on which they are notified in the Gazette.

2.  In these Regulations, "Principal Regulations" means the Land (Planning and Environment) Regulations.
 Substitution

LAND (PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENT) REGULATIONS(AMENDMENT) (NO. 21 OF 1996)

3.  Regulation 23 of the Principal Regulations is repealed and the following regulation substituted:
 Remuneration to members of the Appeals Board
"23.  (1)  For the purposes of section 282D of the Act, the
remuneration to be paid to a member for the period commencing 1 December 1994
and ending on 30 June 1995 shall be taken to have been--
         (a)     for each day he or she performed the functions of Chairperson or
acting Chairperson--$266; and
         (b)     for each day he or she performed functions as any other
member--$215.
"(2)  For the purposes of section 282D of the Act, the remuneration
to be paid to a member on or after 1 July 1995 is, or shall be taken to have
been--
         (a)     for each day he or she performed or performs the functions of
Chairperson or acting Chairperson--$271; and
         (b)     for each day he or she performed or performs functions as any other
member--$219.".
