CHILDREN'S SERVICES REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) (NO. 6 OF 1989) - TABLE OF PROVISIONS 1. Principal Regulations 2. Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations is amended-- 3. Regulation 7 of the Principal Regulations is amended-- 4. Regulation 8 of the Principal Regulations is amended by adding at the end the following penalty: CHILDREN'S SERVICES REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) (NO. 6 OF 1989) - REG 1 Principal Regulations 1. In these Regulations, "Principal Regulations" means the Children's Services Regulations. Admission register CHILDREN'S SERVICES REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) (NO. 6 OF 1989) - REG 2 2. Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations is amended-- (a) by adding at the end of subregulation (1) "in which he or she shall enter the prescribed particulars in relation to each child for whom care is being provided at the child care centre and any change in those particulars"; (b) by omitting from subregulation (2) all the words from and including "An" to and including "centre:" and substituting "For the purposes of subregulation (1), the prescribed particulars are--"; and (c) by adding at the end the following subregulation and penalty: "(3) It shall be sufficient compliance with the requirements of subregulation (1), if the licensee-- (a) enters in the register the prescribed particulars in relation to a child that have been supplied by a parent of that child and which the licensee reasonably believes to be correct; (b) enters in the register any change in a prescribed particular which he or she reasonably believes to have occurred, whether on information supplied by a parent of the relevant child or otherwise; and (c) corrects any error in the particulars entered in the register of which he or she becomes aware. Regulation 7 of the Principal Regulations is amended-- (a) by inserting after "or" in paragraph (2) (e) "the symptoms of the"; (b) by omitting paragraph (2) (f) and substituting the following paragraph: "(f) if the child is found to be suffering from an infectious disease or a notifiable disease--the name of the disease;"; and (c) by adding at the end the following penalty: "Penalty: $200.".
