SUBORDINATE LAWS (AMENDMENT) ACT (No 106 of 1994) - TABLE OF PROVISIONS 1. This Act may be cited as the Subordinate Laws (Amendment) Act (No. 3) 1994. 2. This Act commences on the day on which it is notified in the Gazette. 3. In this Act, "Principal Act" means the Subordinate Laws Act 1989.1 4. Section 6 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from subsection (2) "with paragraph (1) (a)" and substituting: 5. The amendment effected by section 4 is to be taken to apply, and to have always applied, in relation to the gazettal of all subordinate laws made before the date of commencement of this Act. SUBORDINATE LAWS (AMENDMENT) ACT - LONG TITLE An Act to amend the Subordinate Laws Act 1989 Short title SUBORDINATE LAWS (AMENDMENT) ACT - SECT 1 1. This Act may be cited as the Subordinate Laws (Amendment) Act (No. 3) 1994. Commencement SUBORDINATE LAWS (AMENDMENT) ACT - SECT 2 2. This Act commences on the day on which it is notified in the Gazette. Principal Act SUBORDINATE LAWS (AMENDMENT) ACT - SECT 3 3. In this Act, "Principal Act" means the Subordinate Laws Act 1989.1 Notification, tabling and disallowance SUBORDINATE LAWS (AMENDMENT) ACT - SECT 4 4. Section 6 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from subsection (2) "with paragraph (1) (a)" and substituting: "with-- (a) paragraph (1) (a); and (b) any requirement in any Act or subordinate law that the first-mentioned subordinate law be published or notified in the Gazette.". The amendment effected by section 4 is to be taken to apply, and to have always applied, in relation to the gazettal of all subordinate laws made before the date of commencement of this Act.
