LAW REFORM (REPEAL OF LAWS) ACT 1997 (NO 42 OF 1997)

TABLE OF PROVISIONS

           Long Title

   1.      This Act may be cited as the Law Reform (Repeal of Laws) Act 1997.  
   2.      This Act commences on the day on which it is notified in the Gazette.  
   3.      The Acts specified in Schedule 1 are repealed.  
   4.      The laws specified in Schedule 2, being Acts of the Parliament of New South Wales which apply in the Territory by force of subsection 34 (4) of the Australian Capital Territory (Self-Government) Act 1988 of the Commonwealth, in their application in the Territory, are repealed.
