LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY (MEMBERS' STAFF) (NO 6 OF 1997)

TABLE OF PROVISIONS

           Long Title

   1.      This Act may be cited as the Legislative Assembly (Members' Staff) (Amendment) Act 1997.  
   2.      This Act commences on the day on which it is notified in the Gazette.  
   3.      In this Act, “Principal Act” means the Legislative Assembly (Members' Staff) Act 1989.1  
   4.      Section 5 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting in subsection (2) “, in writing,” after “approved” and “determined”.  
   5.      Section 10 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting in subsection (2) “, in writing,” after “approved” and “determined”.  
   6.      Section 11 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting subsection (4).  
   7.      Before section 14 of the Principal Act the following section is inserted in Part IV:
