CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 1999 (NO. 63 OF 1999) - SECT 427
Emergency action—s 75 and s 76 of repealed Act(1) An application under section 75 (Direction for release of child) or 76 (Application to Court for detention order) of the repealed Act made, but not decided before the commencement day, is to be heard and decided under the repealed Act as if it had not been repealed.
(2) The provisions of the repealed Act continue to apply to an order made under section 75 or 76 of that Act that is in force immediately before the commencement day.
(3) This section ceases to have effect at the end of the period of 17 days beginning on the commencement day.
