CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 1999 (NO. 63 OF 1999) - SECT 419
DefinitionsIn this Chapter—
(a) in relation to the repealed Act—means a child within the meaning of that Act; and
(b) in any other case—means a child or young person.
"CSA application" means an application for an order under the repealed Act made, but not decided, before the commencement day.
"CSA order" means an order made under the repealed Act and in force immediately before the commencement day.
"director" means the Director of Family Services under the repealed Act.
"equivalent application", in relation to a CSA application, means the application that is to be taken to have been made under this Act because of this Chapter instead of the CSA application.
equivalent order , in relation to a CSA order, means the order taken to have been made under this Act because of this Chapter instead of the CSA order.
"repealed Act" means the Children's Services Act 1986 as in force immediately before the commencement day.
