CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 1999 (NO. 63 OF 1999) - SECT 295
Withdrawal or discontinuance of applications(1) An applicant for an order under this Part may withdraw or discontinue his or her application before the determination of the proceeding by notifying, in writing, each person served with the application and filing a notice of withdrawal or discontinuance with the court.
(2) A notice of withdrawal or discontinuance in relation to a proceeding must, if the proposed withdrawal or discontinuance has the consent of another party or parties, have the consent endorsed on it.
