CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 1999 (NO. 63 OF 1999) - SECT 253
Variation of interim orders(1) A party to the proceeding may apply to the court for the variation of an interim order.
(2) The court must hear and decide an application for variation within 5 working days after the day the application is filed.
(3) After hearing an application, the court must—
(a) vary the terms of the interim order; or
(b) make another order available under paragraph 251 (1) (e) in substitution for the order sought to be varied; or
(c) dismiss the application.
(4) If, but for this subsection, an interim order in force on the day an application for a variation is filed would expire on a day before the hearing of the application, that order continues in force until the application is heard and decided.
