CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 1999 (NO. 63 OF 1999) - SECT 174
Action by chief executive(1) On receiving a signed agreement, the chief executive must—
(a) provide a copy of the agreement to—
(i) each participant of the conference; and
(ii) each person who was invited to attend the conference but did not attend; and
(iii) each person with parental responsibility for the child or young person who was not invited to attend the conference; and
(b) take such steps as are necessary to implement and maintain the arrangements recorded in the agreement.
(2) On receiving notice that a conference has not resulted in a signed agreement, the chief executive may reconvene the conference.
(3) Nothing in this Division prevents the chief executive from taking action under Part 2 (Voluntary action) or Part 3 (Care and protection orders and emergency action) in relation to a child or young person.
