CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 1999 (NO. 63 OF 1999) - SECT 127
Remission of time to be spent in institutionIf a young person has been committed to an institution, the chief executive may, unless the court otherwise ordered when committing the young person, having regard to the young person's conduct and industry or to special circumstances, reduce the period stated by the court under that paragraph by not more than one-third of the period so stated.
