ANIMAL DISEASES (AMENDMENT) ACT 1997 (NO 3 OF 1997)

TABLE OF PROVISIONS

           Long Title

   1.      This Act may be cited as the Animal Diseases (Amendment) Act 1997.  
   2.      This Act commences on the day on which it is notified in the Gazette.  
   3.      In this Act, “Principal Act” means the Animal Diseases Act 1993.1  
   4.      Section 4 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting the definition of “animal” and substituting the following definition:“ ‘animal' includes—  
   5.      The Apiaries Act 1928 is repealed.
