UTILITIES (ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION) REGULATION 2006 - REG 4 Electricity transmission a prescribed utility service--Act s 15 (1) The transmission of electricity through an electricity transmission network declared under section 5 is a utility service. UTILITIES (ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION) REGULATION 2006 - REG 5 Electricity transmission network--Act, s 15 (2) (1) The Minister may declare a transmission system, or part of a transmission system, to be an electricity transmission network. (2) A declaration under this section is a notifiable instrument. Note A notifiable instrument must be notified under the Legislation Act. (3) In this section: "National Electricity Law "means the National Electricity Law set out in the National Electricity (South Australia) Act 1996 (SA), schedule. "transmission system " means a transmission system that, under the National Electricity Law, is operated by a regulated transmission system operator. The changes are made if the Parliamentary Counsel considers they are desirable to bring the law into line, or more closely into line, with current legislative drafting practice.
