Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Regulations Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Regulations(1) The road transport authority may suspend the operation of section 14 (Vehicles temporarily in the ACT) and section 16 (Trailers exempt from registration in another jurisdiction) in relation to a registrable vehicle if the authority, having regard to any matter mentioned in section 84 (Suspension or cancellation of registration), decides that the suspension is in the public interest.
(2) The suspension may be indefinite or for the period the road transport authority decides.
