ROAD TRANSPORT (DRIVER LICENSING) REGULATION 2000 - REG 39

Eligibility to apply for full licence

    (1)     A person is eligible to apply to the road transport authority for the issue of a full licence of a particular class if the person satisfies—

        (a)     the eligibility requirements for the class; and

        (b)     the provisional licence requirement for the issue of the licence.

Note     The eligibility requirements are set out in s 28. The provisional licence requirement for a motorcycle licence is set out in s 29 and for a car licence, or a driver licence of a higher class, in s 30.

    (2)     This section is subject to section 66 (Eligibility to apply for licence if disqualified or licence suspended).
