DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES (EXPLOSIVES) REGULATION 2004 - REG 26

Authorised explosives—Act, s 73

    (1)     In this regulation—

"authorised explosive" means—

        (a)     an explosive declared by the Minister or the director-general under this part to be authorised; or

        (b)     a general use firework; or

        (c)     ANFO, if it is manufactured under a shot-firer licence, in accordance with the prescribed condition of the licence mentioned in section 187 (1) (c).

    (2)     An authorised explosive is a controlled dangerous substance for the Act.
