BOILERS AND PRESSURE VESSELS REGULATION 1954 - REG 19

A boiler or pressure vessel must not be used or operated if the lagging—

        (a)     consists of building bricks or firebricks; or

        (b)     is heat conducting; or

        (c)     is of such a nature as not to indicate the presence of leaks.
