UNIVERSITY OF CANBERRA ACT 1989 - SECT 4

    (1)     A university is established.

    (2)     The name of the university is the University of Canberra.

    (3)     The university—

        (a)     is a body corporate; and

        (b)     is to have a seal; and

        (c)     may acquire, hold and dispose of real and personal property.

    (4)     The seal of the university must be kept in the custody that the council directs and must not be used except as authorised by the council.
