Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) Subject to this section, money standing to the credit of a trust account maintained in accordance with this part is not available for the payment of debts of the dealer, and subject to subsection (2), is not liable to be attached or taken in execution for the purposes of satisfying a judgment against the dealer.
(2) Nothing in subsection (1) prevents trust money to the extent that the licensed dealer holds the trust money in trust for the person for whom or on whose behalf the money was received from being available for the discharge of the liability of the licensed dealer to that person.
