Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) A licensed dealer shall not, in relation to a person who is apparently under 18 years old, purchase or otherwise acquire from that person or sell to or otherwise dispose of to that person a second-hand motor vehicle without the written consent of that person's parent or guardian.

(2) A licensed wholesaler shall not, in relation to a person who is apparently under 18 years old, purchase or otherwise acquire from that person a second-hand motor vehicle without the written consent of that person's parent or guardian.
