SECURITY INDUSTRY ACT 2003 - SECT 10

Offence of carrying on unauthorised security activity

    (1)     A person commits an offence if the person—

        (a)     carries on a security activity; and

        (b)     does not hold a licence authorising the person to carry on the activity.

Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.

    (2)     An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
