SPENT CONVICTIONS ACT 2000 - SECT 8

For this Act, a person's conviction for an offence is "quashed" if—

        (a)     the conviction is quashed or set aside; or

        (b)     the finding that the charge was proved is quashed or set aside (except to impose a penalty for the offence).
