Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The Executive may, by commission, appoint a resident judge of the court (including the Chief Justice) as President of the Court of Appeal.
(2) The President ceases to hold office if he or she ceases to be a resident judge of the court.
(3) The President may resign as President by written notice to the Attorney-General.
