Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated ActsIf the court orders a pecuniary penalty to be paid by a person convicted of an offence against this Act, the court shall specify in the order the period of imprisonment to be served by the person convicted in default of payment of the penalty, being a period not exceeding the period of imprisonment for which the person may be sentenced by the court for the offence of which the person is convicted.
