Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The road transport authority may delegate the authority's functions under the road transport legislation to—
(a) the chief police officer; or
(b) a public employee; or
(c) a person prescribed by regulation.

(2) The chief police officer may delegate functions delegated to the chief police officer under subsection (1) to—
(a) a police officer; or
(b) a public employee; or
(c) a person prescribed by regulation.
(3) A person mentioned in subsection (1) (c) may delegate a function delegated to the person under subsection (1) to—
(a) a public employee; or
(b) a person prescribed by regulation.
(4) However, a delegation under subsection (1) may provide that a stated function must not be delegated.
