Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The purpose of this section is to ensure that, as far as practicable, the provisions of the Electoral Act, part 19 apply in relation to a referendum in the same way as those provisions apply in relation to an election.
(2) For the purpose of this section, the Electoral Act, part 19 applies, so far as the same is applicable, with the necessary changes.
(3) In particular, part 19 applies subject to the modifications set out in schedule 1, part 1.6.
