Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) When, in the opinion of an inspector, inconvenience or danger may be caused to bathers by the entry of an animal into waters in a public place, he or she may direct a person in charge of the animal to prevent it from entering, or to remove it from, the waters.
(2) A person shall comply with a direction given to him or her by an inspector pursuant to subsection (1).
Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units.
