Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) When, in the opinion of an inspector, inconvenience or danger may be caused to bathers by the entry of an animal into waters in a public place, he or she may direct a person in charge of the animal to prevent it from entering, or to remove it from, the waters.
(2) A person shall comply with a direction given to him or her by an inspector pursuant to subsection (1).
Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units.
