PAWNBROKERS ACT 1902 - SECT 6

Pawnbrokers must be licensed

A person must not carry on business as a pawnbroker unless the person is licensed as a pawnbroker.

Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.
