Australian Capital Territory Consolidated ActsA person commits an offence if—
(a) the person is not a notary public; and
(b) the person—
(i) pretends to be entitled, qualified or able to exercise the functions of a notary public; or
(ii) uses the title of notary public; or
(iii) otherwise pretends to be a notary public.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.
