NATURE CONSERVATION ACT 1980 - SECT 70

A person shall not, in a wilderness area—

        (a)     excavate, except in accordance with a licence; or

        (b)     establish a track or road; or

        (c)     use a motor vehicle except on a track or road that—

              (i)     was formed for the use of vehicles having 4 or more wheels; and

              (ii)     was in existence at the time of the declaration of the wilderness area.

Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.
