Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The conservator may authorise the erection, at or near the entrances to a reserved area or a part of a reserved area, of signs containing directions to be followed by, warnings for the guidance of, and requirements to be observed by, persons entering the reserved area or that part of the reserved area.
(2) A person in a reserved area shall not contravene a direction or requirement on a sign erected in pursuance of subsection (1).
Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
(3) Unless the contrary is proved, evidence that a sign was erected at or near the entrance to a reserved area or a part of a reserved area is evidence that it was erected with the authority of the conservator.
