Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The person in charge of an approved health facility shall ensure that a person taken to the facility under section 37 or the Crimes Act, section 309 (1) (a) is examined by a doctor employed at the facility within 4 hours of the person arriving at the facility.
(2) The person in charge of an approved mental health facility must ensure that a person detained at the facility under section 38 (2) is examined by a doctor employed at the facility within 4 hours of being detained.
