Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The Minister may appoint a registrar of the Magistrates Court.
Note 1 For the making of appointments (including acting appointments), see the Legislation Act, pt 19.3.
Note 2 In particular, an appointment may be made by naming a person or nominating the occupant of a position (see Legislation Act, s 207).
(2) The registrar may appoint the deputy registrars of the court, bailiffs and other officers that are required.
(3) In subsection (2):
"registrar" does not include a deputy registrar.
